Elementary signing with Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu at Comic-Con 2012, CBS Booth.
The best part about this signing was making Miller smile. Elementary is a new show and the people ahead of me were not saying much to Miller. When I got to the booth I remember thinking that Miller was “going through the motions.” He was signing his name and hardly glancing at the people in front of him. He just signed his name and passed the card along… When I approached him I said, “I loved you in Frankenstein.” His eyes became huge and he looked at me and said, “Really?” He then proceeded to give me the biggest grin! I don’t like to boast but I like to think that I made his day with that complement. He went on to thank me and I continued to praise him and Benedict for their renditions of one of my favorite novels.
The Creature: “Slowly I learnt the ways of humans: how to ruin, how to hate, how to debase, how to humiliate. And at the feet of my master I learnt the highest of human skills, the skill no other creature owns: I finally learnt how to lie.”
Elizabeth: “Lie?”
